Helge Block was a capable and respected fisherman, but now he hardly has anything to eat. People in the village have turned their backs to him and his son, Jonas. ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Toke Constantin Hebbeln was born in Itzehoe, Germany, in 1978. He studied literature and philosophy in Berlin, and then went on to study in the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, when he directed over 15 short films and ads. This is his first feature film.
