The story is based on the true facts of Barbara Baekeland’s death. She was married to Brooks Baekeland, the North-American plastics industry millionaire. They had a handsome son, Antony, a homosexual. In London, 1972, Antony murders his mother, in a story that involves incest and the decadence of a powerful family.

Tom Kalin is a director, screenwriter and producer; he was born in 1962. His first film, Swoon, was produced in 1992; he has recently made a number of short films on themes around AIDS and homosexuality.
