Victor lives in Vienna with Annette, his lovely Austrian wife, and his daughter Pamela. It is Spring. Fleeing work, Victor spends his days outside: he plays with Pamela, visits Annette’s parents, and wander around the park with drug traffickers. Very much inlove, Annette trusts that when they return to Paris, he will get his act together. But Victor does not abandon his bad habits, and ends up falling in love with a young junkie. Eleven years later, Pamela discovers that her father lives in the same city, and decides to meet him again.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Mia Hansen-Love was born in 1981. After acting in Olivier Assayas’ films Fin août, début septembre (1999) and Les Destinées sentimentales (2000), she enters the Paris Theater Conservatory in 2001. Between 2003 and 2005 she wrote for the Les Cahiers du Cinéma. She has directed many short films, including: Contre-coup (2005), Laisse passer l’été (2005) and Un pur esprit (2004). This is her first feature film; it was shown in the Quinzena dos Realizadores de Cannes (2008), and in the Rotterdam, San Francisco, Viena, Buenos Aires Festivals, among others.
