It is June 24th and summer vacations are about to start. Teenagers in a French village experience desire. Livia, a lonely young 15-year-old horse rider, prefers to be transported, carried and consoled by her horse. But when Jean Susini, a fireman, helps her up after a serious fall from the horse, she falls in love for him. Livia let herself be carried away by ardent passion for this older man. Desire devours and consumes her, until becoming irreparable.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Claire Simon was born in London. She started working in cinema as an editor, at the same time making independent shorts. She directed various documentaries in the Ateliers Varan, which received various awards. Her first fiction feature film was Sinon, oui (1997), after which she wrote theater plays, other documentaries and finally the film Ça Brûle, which is her second fiction film. The film has played in various festivals, such as the San Francisco (2007), Vienna, Rotterdam, Buenos Aires, and other film festivals.
