RIVER
A film by Mark Wihak, Canada, 2007, 80 min.
Original version with Portuguese subtitles.

A lyrical evocation of the transforming friendships of youth – passionate, rapturous and, at times, brief as summer. Stan and Roz live in a small town. He has just graduated from university and is trying to write a novel. She works in a job that offers no future perspectives, and walks around town with her camera. When Stan and Roz meet, they take care of each other trying to nourish each other’s dream, each with their own talent, discovering what is possible in a friendship and within themselves.
