Tomba Homem is the last surviving transvestite of the Madame Satã and Cintura Fina generation. He lived in the Lagoinha and Bonfim districts, where he became notorious as a ruffian. At 73 years, he has become a myth for younger generations.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Gibi Cardoso produced the films Oiapoque – L’Oyapock (1998), O fim do sem fim (1999), Do outro lado do rio (2002), O milagre de dona Rita (2003), and A verdadeira história de Tião Cóio (2003). He was responsible for the research and production of the documentaries A Alma do osso (2003) and Andarilho (2003). This is his first documentary; he is currently filming “O Homem Provisório.”
