Three young Israelis: Noam sells LP records, Yali manages a coffee house, and Lulu works as a salesperson in a cosmetics store. They share a flat in a nice Tel Aviv suburb. They lead a commonplace life in this “bubble” and focus on their love lives, effectively disconnected from reality and the political conflicts of their country. Everything changes when Ashraf, a Palestinian, comes into the scene; Noam falls in love for him after an incident in a control unit.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Eytan Fox was born in New York in 1964. He moved over to Israel with his family while still a child. He grew up in Jerusalem and studied at the Tel Aviv Cinema School. He directed the feature films Song of the Siren (1994), Gotta Have Heart (1997), Delicada Relação (Yossi & Jagger) (2002) and Walk on Water (2004).
