Punk still brings in large crowds thirty years after bands such as the Ramones and the Sex Pistols shocked the system with their heavy rock and status-quo destructing attitude. Punk has become a marketing concept for selling everything, from cars to vodka. Tinted hair and piercing have become a rite of passage for thousands of youths. Can the true non-conformist punk soul still exist in today’s corporate culture? This documentary presents shows, tour backstage scenes and interviews of people who keep punk alive. Bands include The Ataris, Bad Religion, Jello Biafra, Dead Kennedys, Green Day, Billy Idol, Iron Cross, Ramones, Scream, Sex Pistols, and many others.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Susan Dynner is a director and producer; she has dedicated herself to record the people, faces and places that composed the punk scene in Washington, USA. At age 15 she had already photographed legendary punk bands such as the Black Flag, The UK Subs, GBH, Minor Threat, The Exploited, and Circle Jerks. She recently co-produced the movie Brick (2006), and worked with Charlie Sheen and Nick Casavettes at Ventura Films and as a producer at Prairiefire Films.
