Tokyo has many levels of reality. You can find anything there. A picture of this surprising city through rock. Japanese understand and love rock; there is a significant underground world there. This documentary includes four bands: Guitar Wolf, three handsome boys and an intense garage rock; 5678, rockabilly queens with their elegance inspired in the 50s; the Jet Boys, under a radical, crazy and exhibitionist leader; and Nine, youths that believe in success through music.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Pamela Valente was born and brought up in São Paulo. After completing her studies in ECA (SP), she went to France and studied history in Paris, where she lived for 11 years. She then decided to go to Tokyo where she lived for nearly two years. She currently lives in Paris. This is her first movie.
