Akiko travels all the way from Japan to the isolated Vladivostok, in post-Soviet Russia, to meet the young businessman Matsunaga who she has met only once in Tokyo. She finds him, he leaves her, and so she begins stalking him through the outskirts of town, until she is abducted.

About the director Kiyoshi Kurosawa is one of the most celebrated Japanese authors of his generation. He graduated in Rikkyo University in Tokyo, but after directing small direct-to-video B movies, he gained a scholarship to study in the USA. After that, he consolidated his name as a j-horror director and thriller mastermind with works such as Cure, Pulse and experiments in other genres, as the praised Tokyo Sonata. INDIE screened a retrospective on Kurosawa´s works in 2010.
