Hana is a young girl who lost almost her entire family to a Tsunami at the age of 10. She has only one relative left, the 26 years old Jungo, that raises her. The bond between the two intensifies, and slowly the paternal relationship becomes a love affair that challenges the social norms. Loss and the will to belong mark these two lives in a collision route.

About the director Kazuyoshi Kumakiri gathered the attention of the film business early on, with his graduation project: the violent and political Kichiku, done still while studying in University of the Arts in Osaka. At the age of 40, the work of Kazuyoshi is marked by films of different genres and formats: psychological dramas, stories of love and heartbreak, films based in Mangas. INDIE has screened a retrospective on Kumakiri´s work in 2012.
